p>Hi, I'm Mr. Madsen
Starting in the 2021-2022 school year, I will be teaching technology education. Classes will incorporate computer science, robotics, coding as well as other engineering and educational technology applications. I look forward to having you do some problem solving, designing, building, computing and discovery in my classes.
A little about me...
I was born in Waupaca, WI. I was adopted when I was 8 years old and grew up in Manitowoc, WI. After graduation from Manitowoc Lincoln High School in 1986, I attended the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. I graduated in 1991 with a dual degree in elementary and special education. From there, I taught for 2 years in Rhinelander, WI.
In 1993, I began teaching in the Seymour Community School District. I spent 14 years at Black Creek Elementary/Middle School teaching science and social studies. Since then, I have been at Seymour Middle School teaching social studies, science and math. I completed a Master's degree in Educational Technology from Marian University. It has helped greatly in my teaching to bring new ideas into the classroom.
I have also coached several sports since working in the Seymour Community School District, including middle school girls' volleyball, middle school and high school cross country and middle school track.
I look forward to a great year with lots of fun and learning.
