Welcome to Seymour Community Schools!
We are proud to be able to offer our students and families the personal attention that comes with being a small school community, while still being able to provide them the same learning and extra-curricular opportunities that are available in much larger districts. These experiences provide our students with a solid foundation of learning that will support them in their future aspirations of college, career, or community.
Students are engaged in community service and involvement throughout their educational career. We are fortunate to have strong community partnerships which support our students by providing programming, offering donations, and hosting youth apprenticeships. The proximity of our school sites also offers our students the chance to interact across the grade levels through shared projects, special events, and mentoring.
It is our hope that our families, along with their children, will feel connected to the Seymour Community School District. Parents and guardians are valued partners in their children's education, and we welcome their interest and involvement in our schools. We are always looking for new ways to engage our families in their children's education, and welcome your feedback and ideas for improving our outreach efforts.
