Note: Seymour Team name will be Seymour Hooves of Thunder - put that in the blank as the team name. District #6. Complete forms for both students and parents.
Open to Grades 6-12
Practices held at the Outagamie Fairgrounds in Seymour and in Black Creek.
Regionals will be the first weekend in October.
The State show is held at the Allegiant Energy Center in Madison the last weekend of October.
- Parent/Guardians are responsible for transportation/cost.
- We do require volunteer time to help offset costs.
- Participants will be required to have a horse to participate for the Equestrian Team.
- Participants will be required to attend weekly practices and both Regional and State shows (if we earn a state seat).
- Riding classes are not on a pleasure type demonstration but more on horsemanship with patterns in hand and under saddle. This is to show your communication and control in riding or maneuvering your horse.
- What riding disciplines are involved? Barrels, Poles, Horsemanship, Ranch Riding, Equestrian, Hunter over Fences, and Trail.
- Participants will be required to pay $45 to cover liability insurance.
- Are there additional Costs? Yes, additional charges will occur for class fees, stalls, and office fees. Historically it will be around $75-200 depending on local, district, and state shows.

Seymour Community High School and 9 other schools (Ashwaubenon, Bay Port, De Pere, Green Bay East, Preble, Southwest, West, Notre Dame Academy, Seymour, and West De Pere) form the Bay Area Ice Bears in WIAA-sponsored co-operative girls' hockey program.
The Bay Area Ice Bears, have a full slate of games/practices are set and HOME games will be played at the Cornerstone Ice Center in Ashwaubenon.
