I am a student support specialist for Seymour Community School District and have been working at Black Creek Elementary/Middle School since 1999. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary/Middle School Education, I earned a master’s degree through Walden University in Elementary Reading and Literacy.

Working at Black Creek Elementary/Middle School, is a unique experience for both our staff and students as we have the opportunity to work and grow together for the duration of 10 school years (4K-8). This special connection has helped to develop trusting and supportive relationships for students, parents, and staff.

A personal goal I have is to help children reach their full potential in education and life. I believe that when given support and encouragement, children can accomplish tasks they never thought possible. With this goal as a focus, I welcome new challenges and feel successful when I see a smile on a child’s face that shows how happy and proud they are of their accomplishments.
