2025 ELECTION INFORMATION
Important Dates 2025 Election:
December 1, 2024 - Date candidates are able to file Candidacy papers
December 20, 2024, 5 p.m. - Deadline for incumbents to file notification of Non Candidacy
January 7, 2025, 5 p.m. - Deadline for candidates to file Declaration of Candidacy and Campaign Finance Registration forms
February 18, 2025 - Spring Primary (if needed)
April 1, 2025 - Spring Election
April 28, 2025 - Elected persons take office
PLEASE NOTE: The District office will be closed December 23, 2024 , through January 1, 2025, for Winter Break. Regular business hours for the District Office are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. although the office will be open until the 5:00 p.m. deadline on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, for acceptance of candidacy documents

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to qualified electors of the Seymour Community School District that a school board election will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, to fill the following board positions: Two (2) members from Zone 1, City of Seymour and (1) member from Zone 2, Village of Black Creek. Each position is for a three-year term, beginning on Monday, April 28, 2025. All board members are elected at-large; however, candidates must reside in either Zone 1 or Zone 2 respectively. The present incumbents are Steve Kane and Stacy Smith (Zone 1) and Tony Kastning (Zone 2).
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that an elector desiring to be a candidate for a position on the school board must file a Declaration of Candidacy and a Campaign Registration Statement no later than Tuesday, January 7, 2025. These can be obtained during normal working hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the School District Office located at 10 Circle Drive, Seymour, Wisconsin.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that if a primary election is necessary, the primary election will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. A description of the school district boundaries can be obtained from the school district office.
