Transportation for the 4-K program will be provided to all rural district resident students who reside two miles or more from the public school which they attend. Students living within the two mile limit will be furnished transportation if the area has been designed "hazardous" by appropriate traffic officers and approved by the state.
Because of the age of these children, it is required that the bus driver have a visual sighting of the parent/guardian at the residence before a child will be dropped off from the bus.
All transportation requests require 48 hours prior notice before the change goes into effect
