Thunder Community,

I am excited and honored to join Seymour Middle School Community as the Dean of Students/Athletic Director. My experience in education at all three levels, in a variety of roles, throughout the last 12 years has prepared me to work collaboratively with students and staff in the upcoming year at Seymour Middle School.

I believe wholeheartedly that every student deserves to feel valued, loved, supported, and cared for. Through these connections and relationships, we will build together, I will strive to understand and grow the whole student by exploring new ways to meet and develop students’ academic and social skills. These are essential for students inside and outside the classroom by supporting their employability and life skills beyond our walls. My door is always open, as your participation, feedback, and suggestions are always welcome to engage students’ minds. I value your partnership in your child’s education and look forward to building long-lasting relationships with you.

To our students, I cannot wait to meet you all! I hope that you are excited for this coming school year and that you are out this summer playing, enjoying the sun, and reading tons of books with your family and friends.
