FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
The National FFA Organization is the only nationally chartered organization controlled and governed by students. Students in our local FFA chapter have the opportunity to get involved in a number of events such as: county fair exhibit; judging events; fundraisers; community service; trips; conferences; and local, state, and national contests.
The Seymour FFA generally has a meeting every second Monday of each month. The chapter tries to have a recreation period where they play basketball and other organized events. Students play an important role in what is done in the FFA by developing leadership in the agriculture community.
