Hello! My name is Sara Hronek.  I graduated from the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse in 2004.  A week later, I was hired as a long-term substitute, and the following year was offered a full-time teaching contract here at Black Creek.  Since then many years have passed and I am still teaching at Black Creek!

In 2010,  I completed my master's degree at Walden University in Reading and Literacy.  I am currently teaching 6th and 8th Grade Math, 6th and 7th Grade Writing, and 6th Grade Reading.  Needless to say, the new curriculums keep me on my toes every year.  

In addition to teaching, I am the Student Council Advisor, Yearbook Advisor, DI coach, and a Team Leader. To me, teaching is a gift in which every day I am able to see students' eyes light up as they learn something new.  I feel fortunate to teach in the Seymour Community School District in which students come first!
