Take the Wisconsin Boadband Survey
The DPI hopes schools will encourage parents to complete a survey as part of an effort to reduce the digital divide for students and community members.
The department is partnering with the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) to promote the survey, about broadband Internet demand, open through the end of May.
It’s part of the larger LinkWisconsin project.
By completing the survey (either the residential or business version), parents can help the state begin to address the digital divide faced by many students throughout the state, and bring about the broadband access needed in schools and classrooms.
The better the response, the better data the DPI and PSC will have to encourage public and private entities to plan for fast, inexpensive broadband across all of Wisconsin.
