6th graders at Seymour Middle School are listening to Allen Say's autobiography Drawing From Memory as a read aloud in class. Sets of partners are spending two class periods reading some of his wonderfully illustrated books.
Hello and welcome to Seymour Middle School! I have been an 8th grade teacher in the district, and I am looking forward to teaching 6th grade. Prior to arriving in Seymour, I taught 8th grade language and reading for two years and piloted an At-Risk Program in North Fond du Lac. I also enjoy coaching freshman volleyball.
I graduated from Lakeland College in Sheboygan in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary/Middle School Education and a minor in English. I am a student again as I am going back to school to earn my Master’s Degree.
My husband and I live in Kaukauna with our boxer puppy Zoey. She is full of energy and really keeps us busy. I enjoy boating, camping, fishing, playing volleyball, reading, and attending Brewer and Packer games.
I love being a part of the Seymour School District, and I am looking forward to another great year!
