Advanced Standing (AS)

  • Students must enroll in an associate degree or technical diploma at FVTC to receive advanced standing.
  • Students become eligible to receive advanced standing (not a letter grade) when they meet the conditions

of the articulation agreement and achieve a minimum of a “B” grade on the high school transcript.

  • Students have their high school transcripts sent to the technical college so that it can be compared against

the advanced standing agreements that were in place for their high school.

  • Students must submit a Request for High School Transcript Review form to assist college staff with the

Awarding of credit.To obtain this form, call Enrollment Services at FVTC at (920)735-5645.

  • Students must self-identify and ask for advanced standing.
