Welcome to the Rock Ledge  Media Center

Our library is committed to building and sustaining positive learning experiences where all students develop essential skills for living in a changing world.

We will create a community of information literate life long learners. We will expand the technology knowledge of everyone in our schools. Curriculum will be enriched through the integration of library media materials and technology. With our expanded knowledge base and technology integrated curriculum, we will be prepared to embrace the changing classroom that awaits us.

Meet the Staff

Elissa Ruppert earned her degree as a Library Media Specialist from UW-Oshkosh in June of 2005 and her Masters in Library Sciences from UW-Milwaukee in June of 2006. This is her ninth year as the librarian at the Rock Ledge Schools.  Mrs. Ruppert lives with her husband, her sons Quinn and Elliot, her cat Cecil and her dog Lula. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, doing fine beadwork, dancing, and of course, reading a good book.

Tricia Cole is the Library Assistant for the Primary Center. She graduated from Silver Lake College in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Mrs. Cole loves spending time with her family, which includes her husband, three daughters, a dog named Kodak and a cat named Milly. Backpacking, camping, canoeing, drawing, watercolor painting, and reading are some of her favorite things to do. She especially loves sharing great books with children!

Laurie Thibodeau is the library assistant for the Intermediate Center.  She loves spending time with her husband and 2 children.  Some of the activities she enjoys are downhill skiing, hunting, fishing, snowshoeing, running, scrapbooking, being outdoors and reading a good nonfiction book.
