Thank you for visiting the Rock Ledge Intermediate School Counseling site.  The Seymour Community School District Counseling Program is facilitated by a support network of school counselors, teachers, staff, administration, parents, and community members in order to ensure academic success for all.  Our goal is to help every student develop into a successful, productive citizen.

 

A little about me:  This is my 9th year as a school counselor for the Seymour Community School District and my 17th year in education. I graduated in 1996 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education.  While teaching full time, I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2001.  Prior to becoming a school counselor, I taught as an at-risk program coordinator and a special education teacher.  I absolutely love my job as a school counselor, and it is my privilege to prepare every Rock Ledge student for success in their academic, personal, and career lives.  It is my goal to be the best advocate, resource, and guide for student growth that I can be. I learn something new from my students every day; I only hope I am returning the favor by encouraging them to be lifelong learners as well.

 

 I live in Green Bay with my husband, our two daughters, and our dog.  I enjoy going to Packers games, relaxing up north with my family, running, snowboarding, and music of all kinds!
