School Board Meetings and Members

Our seven member Board of Education governs the Seymour Community School District. Board members are elected at large; however, they must reside in designated zones. Board members are elected for three year terms.

The regular meeting of the Seymour Community School District Board of Education shall be held on the fourth Tuesday of each calendar month at 7:00 p.m. in sites designated by Board of Education schedule in Policy BD-R. If necessary, the Board President may change the time and place of the meeting. Public notice of the meeting shall be given in accordance with State Law and established procedures. Exact meeting dates may be obtained by calling the district office at (920)833-2304, extension 502. All Board Meetings shall be open to the public in accordance with WI Statutes. The Board may elect to convene in closed session to discuss and act on such items as permitted by law.

BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING NOTICE

The Seymour Community School District Board of Education will meet in regular session on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Library. The agenda includes the following items: Resignations/Hiring, Tri-County Dental Pathways Report, CESA Contracts, Affirmation of Debt Rating, 2013-2014 Preliminary Budget, 2013-2014 Open Enrollment Requests, Negotiations Committee, Property Committee, Follow-up Items/Requests, Board Calendar, and other routine business. The Board will convene in closed session in accordance with WI STATS 19.85(1)(c) for administrative compensation which is exempt by the Open Meeting Law. The Board will reconvene in open session where action may be taken. The Finance Committee of the Board will meet at 6:00 p.m. in the District Office to review vouchers payable.
