I graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a comprehensive special education major. That is a double major in elementary education and special education. I taught for two years in the Wittenberg-Birnamwood School District as an LD teacher. After that I taught as an LD teacher at Rock Ledge Elementary School for 6 years. Then I transferred to Black Creek and have taught either second or third grade for many years. I have a master's degree and lots of experience and am still excited about children, teaching, and learning. I thank all of the parents of my students past and present for allowing me the priviledge of working with your children through the years and look forward to teaching and learning for years to come. |

Jill Heacock has a bachelor’s degree from UW-Oshkosh in International Relations. She spent some time in consumer sales before becoming a mom. She then ran her own registered daycare for seven years before becoming a substitute teacher in the Freedom School District for the next seven years. She loved teaching so much she went back to Marian University to get a Teaching License for Grades 1-8. Last year she was a Title I reading and math specialist in the Rock Ledge schools, and this year marks her first year as a classroom teacher in Grade 3 at Black Creek. |

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2000 with my undergraduate degree. In the fall of 2001 I was hired as a 4th grade teacher at Black Creek Elementary Middle School. I currently teach 3rd grade. My love for children and teaching encouraged me to pursue my Master's Degree from Viterbo University in 2006. |
