News from Student Council 

*****Gum and Gatorade Prices Have Changed Both are Now $1.25*****

                 Welcome back and Happy 2010! In November we held our annual canned food and money drives. We made our of 2,000 cans with    and our goal of $1000 with $     . Student council went shopping and picked out some nice gifts for the families for christmas.

           We have also been selling snacks in the mornings and afternoons. So, if your child in the middle school has skipped breakfast or has been complaining about being hungry, they can buy a snack. All the snacks we sell at school are $.25-.50 and the sports snacks are $.25-1.00. Snacks will be sold at 7:50-8:00 and 12:35-12:40. There is also a Gatorade machine available if your child is thirsty. This is available for all grades, but it depends on each individual teacher as to whether it is allowed in his or her room.   This is a great way for Student Council to earn money and the kids greatly appreciate it!

   Ice cream is being sold to 2nd grade on the dates the teachers chose. We sell to 3rd grade every 3rd Friday and 4th, 5th and Middle School every Friday. Elementary prices are $.50 and Middle School prices are $.50-$1.00.  

We have had 3 dances this year, the welcome back, halloween, and christmas dance. They have all went wonderful. We are looking forward to the Valentines day dance. It will be on Feburary 12 from 3-5.

Middle school don't forget the crushes for your crush is coming up! There will be grape and orange crush sodas as usual and suckers. The sodas will cost $.75 and the suckers, $.25. It will be held the week before Valentines day, the 8th-11th. ALL SLIPS NEED TO BE IN BY THE 11TH OR THEY WILL NOT BE EXCEPTED. More information will be told to you a week before by your grades representatives.

For Middle School the box top bins have been changed. 8th grade is to put their box tops in Mrs. Hroneks room, 7th grade in Mrs. Mayefske's, and 6th grade in Mrs. Haines'.
