Hello! My name is Julie Destiche. I have been teaching at Black Creek since 1995. I am currently teaching fourth grade, but I have also taught third and fifth grade. I truly enjoy working with children at the intermediate level because of their willingness to learn and their diverse personalities and learning styles.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Elementary Education. I have also done graduate work in the area of special education at the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh. My teaching career began in a 5th/6th grade classroom in Parker, Colorado. I then taught 5th grade for two years in inner-city Denver, which was an eye-opening, wonderful experience. Though the Denver area was beautiful, I found that I really missed Wisconsin. I then taught for one year in Oconto at the middle school level. Now I am here at Black Creek and absolutley love the school and community.

I live in Appleton with my husband, two children, and one cat. We enjoy boating, watching the kids' activities, and spending time together as a family.

My name is Pam Huntington and I am currently teaching 4th grade at Black Creek Elementary School.  My career at Seymour Schools began in 1988.  Through the years I have taught 1st, 4th, and 5th grade.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in 1987 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.  My desire to help students with special needs succeed in my classroom encouraged me to pursue my Master's Degree in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

I live in the Appleton area with my husband, four children, and two dogs.  We keep busy watching our children play football, baseball, soccer, basketball, softball, and run cross country.

It has been my pleasure teaching the children of Black Creek.  I feel it is a privilege to teach in a 4K - 8th grade learning environment as we have the opportunity to watch our students grow over the years.
